AUTO BREAKS AND -GO COMMANDS IN PRISTINE MMCS<\/h3>\n

\u201cAuto Breaks\u201d are automatic time triggered commands that work in the background rather than in the actual scheduled playlist of a Pristine MMCS System.<\/p>\n

Working in conjunction with the optional Metrabyte External Switching Package, MMCS has special Auto Break formats using ID\u2019s \u201c-A\u201d thru \u201c-Z\u201d that allow you to program specific timed breaks such as \u201cGoing To A Network News Feed At The Top Of The Hour\u201d. Using the special Auto Break Day Formats feature using ID\u2019s \u201c-1\u201d thru \u201c-7\u201d you can program the specific hours of the day and days of the week you want your Auto Breaks to work.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the most commonly programmed \u201cAuto Breaks\u201d and examples of how they are being used \u2026
\u201c-GO-END\u201d \u2014 Automatically ends the current playlist at the time scheduled, finishing the current playlist event and then starting the first event of the next playlist hour. This command is used during live assist to automatically time out the hour, discarding any extra songs at the end of the hour.<\/p>\n

\u201c-GO-TOP\u201d \u2014 Automatically ends the current playlist at the time scheduled by auto-fading (cutting off) the current playlist event and then starting the first event of the next playlist hour. This command is used to automatically time out to network news feeds that fall directly at the top of the hour.<\/p>\n

\u201c-GO-CUT\u201d \u2014 Automatically auto-fades (cuts off) the current playlist item at the scheduled time and then proceeds to the next playlist item. This command is used to time out to network delivered programs that start at times other than the top of the hour such as bottom or quarter of the hour.\u201c-GO-TO\u201d \u2014 Automatically \u201cGoes To\u201d a designated play list event at the scheduled time. This command is used to \u201cjump\u201d to a specific point in the playlist, usually bypassing some \u201cover-scheduled\u201d music sets.<\/p>\n

\u201c-GO-ON\u201d\/\u201d-GO-OFF\u201d \u2014 Automatically activates\/deactivates a chosen relay at the time scheduled without interrupting playlist events. This command is used to turn on and off an external device to record network feeds unattended.
Once again, these are just a few of the many combinations of Auto Breaks available. Please refer to your Pristine MMCS manual for more examples.<\/p>\n
